Important Information
The treatment cycle of the DPL® Therapy System has recently been changed in accordance with FDA guidelines from 9 minutes to 17 minutes. For owners of 9 minute cycle system, you can now use the system 2x9minutes for normal treatments.
How often and how long should I use the DPL® System?
The DPL® Therapy System is designed to run for seventeen (17) minutes per treatment. We recommend taking up to two (2) DPL® treatments daily for the first month and then two treatments a week after that. If you miss a treatment, don't worry, just extend the daily treatments for the lost days.top
How long until I see results?
Everyone's skin varies, but most people feel and see a difference in about four treatments. Because of differences in damaged skin, some people will see the benefits almost immediately and others will need more treatments. Because treatments are progressive, we recommend treatments for at least ten (10) weeks, for maximum results.top
Does DPL® Light Therapy work on most people?
DPL® is proven to work on all skin types. There is an excellent success rate for most people. In case of Acne and Rocasea we have seen the following results with our customers: 20% healed completely, 50% reported almost total healing, 20% saw noticable reduction and 10% reported no improvements. top
Can this hurt my eyes?
No studies have been found showing any harmful effects to the eyes when using our product correctly. However, we recommend you close your eyes and do not stare directly into the LEDs.top
Why can't I see light from some of the LEDs?
These LEDs (880 nm) are on and working properly. You cannot see them because they are in the infrared spectrum, which is not visible to the human eye. Some digital cameras and camcorders will display the infrared lights.top
Can I combine DPL® Therapy with other skincare products?
Yes. DPL® Therapy can be used alone or with other skin care treatments. Many physicians have found DPL® Therapy to complement other treatments.top
Will DPL® Therapy hurt?
No. Unlike lasers or other ablative (skin harming) treatments, DPL® therapy is non-thermal, non-ablative, and non-invasive. Clients report no discomfort or pain associated with DPL® Therapy treatments.top
